I’m Melina, an international therapist with over 30 years' experience supporting clients emotionally - helping them to heal and reconnect with themselves, their relationships and their sense of wellbeing.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, or unresolved trauma from your past, my practice is grounded in listening, understanding and presence.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally worn down, burnt-out, or stuck in survival mode - especially if you've been under pressure or adapting to constant change for a long time.
Life can look like you are fully functioning on the outside, while inside things feel heavy, frightening or fragile. You don’t have to go through this alone - taking this step can be the beginning of feeling supported, steadier and lighter.
I work online with clients around the world and also run classes in the community. My approach is trauma-informed , compassionate and integrative. The therapy unfolds at a pace that prioritises safety, trust and what feels possible.
I am a specialist trauma counsellor - with expertise in sexual abuse, sexual violence and childhood trauma, as well as expertise in addictions and relationships.
Clients come specifically to me, for trauma-recovery therapy. Because each person processes trauma differently, I offer carefully considered support, in a safe space that is attentive and respectful of their journey.
For couples and intimate partners, I offer emotionally focused therapy to improve communication, strengthen bonds, rebuild trust and navigate experiences of loss and betrayal. Support can be offered individually or together, depending on what feels right for you.
For clients who want to focus on their lifestyle and wellbeing, I offer wellness coaching - helping you to define meaningful goals and make sustainable changes - whether in your daily routines, healthier habits or broader lifestyle choices, that align with your values and future aspirations.

International Therapy
About me - I'm English-Italian, based in the UK, and I work with clients here and online internationally - with expats, remote professionals, clients who have moved or are from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My own lived experiences of trauma, transition and displacement inform my practice and deepens my passion for supporting others. I respect each person's unique story and I am drawn to working with those who have moved country, feel isolated, displaced, or targeted in some way.

About Therapy - At some point in our lives, we all need a bit of additional support - talking with a professional, who is trained and impartial can really help.
Therapy can be a way to reconnect with yourself, regain balance and discover your own inner strength. We may explore aspects of your past, not to assign blame, but to reshape the narrative of your story and yourself - so you can move forward with greater empowerment.
My approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based therapies and grounded in neuroscience, with coaching, mindfulness and holistic interventions. This blend allows me to tailor care to each person's unique needs, supporting emotional growth, healing and overall wellbeing.
I also, offer sessions that combine gentle breathwork, meditation and reflective practices. These provide a safe, trauma-informed space to pause, reconnect with your body and cultivate calm, presence and emotional balance.
Alongside my client work, I offer reflective and supportive clinical supervision for therapists and helping professionals. These sessions are designed to support your clinical practice, professional growth and wellbeing, including awareness of the impact of secondary or vicarious trauma.
