I have over 30 years' experience supporting clients emotionally and helping them to heal, reconnect with themselves, their relationships and their sense of wellbeing.
You may be experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, low mood, trauma, PTSD, low-self-esteem, or disconnection from yourself. Sometimes there is a clear reason for how you are feeling and sometimes it can be harder to put into words. At Melina Therapy I offer space for both.
Alongside my general practice, I have extensive experience working with addictions and supporting survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence and other experiences that can have lasting impact on their emotional wellbeing and relationships.
I am an integrative therapist drawing on traditional person-centred and cognitive approaches, alongside mindfulness and coaching-informed work. In addition to talking therapy, I may also incorporate mind-body techniques, rooted in neuroscience and self-regulation such as breathwork and meditation.
For couples and intimate partners, I offer emotionally focused therapy - to improve communication, strengthen connection, rebuild trust and navigate experiences of loss and betrayal.
For clients who want to prioritise direction and wellbeing, I offer personalised coaching. I can help you clarify your goals, make sustainable lifestyle changes and create greater alignment with your values, aspirations and sense of purpose. This can also support more grounded and healthier daily routines.

I provide online therapy offering professional support from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Working online makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life while still creating a meaningful, consistent and supportive therapeutic relationship.

I am English-Italian and my own lived experience has shaped a deep respect for identity, culture and belonging. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds and offer a culturally sensitive, inclusive space where your story is heard and respected. I am particularly drawn to working with those who feel isolated, disconnected, or uncertain about where they belong.
In my practice, I help clients explore and make sense of their past, while supporting greater presence and ease through mindful grounding approaches and bring trauma-recovery healing to experiences that may still feel emotionally present. This therapeutic work supports meaning-making from the past, trauma integration and greater regulation and internal balance in the present.
