Welcome, I am Melina and I am an international therapist offering online counselling and wellness coaching, to individuals, couples and groups. With over 30 years of experience, I support clients in navigating life's challenges, healing unresolved issues and building lasting emotional wellbeing. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, low self esteem, or the deep wounds of trauma and PTSD, I offer a compassionate, trauma-informed space, where meaningful healing can begin. 


I am a trauma specialist counsellor and my approach is fully trauma-informed, so you can feel safe in the therapeutic space and begin to heal at your own pace. I understand that each person processes trauma in their own unique way and therefore clients come to me, specifically for my specialist support.  I specialise in working with survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence, and other deeply traumatic experiences, offering care that is empathic, empowering and grounded in trust.


Along side talk therapy, I draw on wellness practices, with mind-body connections such as breath-work and meditation to help regulate the nervous system and promote emotional regulation.


If you are struggling with addiction, you're not alone - and support is available. I have extensive experience working with a range of addictions, including drugs, alcohol, sex and online behaviours. My approach is non-judgmental, helping you understand the underlying causes and building healthier coping strategies for lasting change.


For couples and intimate partners  - including LGBTQ+ - I offer Emotionally Focused Therapy to help strengthen bonds, rebuild trust and navigate emotional challenges together. 


My wellness coaching is tailored to meet individual needs, goals and lifestyle. Whether you are looking to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, or create healthier habits and routines, we will work together to design a plan that truly fits you.

About Me

I'm  English-Italian, based in the UK., and I work primarily online with clients around the world.

I'm passionate about connecting with people from diverse countries, cultures and walks of life. With experience supporting expats, remote professionals and nomadic workers. I bring a culturally sensitive approach to therapy - respecting each individual's unique background and story.

I'm especially drawn to working with those who have felt marginalised, displaced or targeted in some way. I often support clients navigating identity struggles, a lack of belonging, or significant life transitions. Wherever you are in the world, I offer a grounded, compassionate space to explore who you are and where you want to go.

My approach is integrative and drawn from a unique blend of evidence-based therapies, grounded in neuroscience, with coaching, mindfulness and holistic practices. 

This allows me to offer highly personalised psychological care, tailored to your individual needs - supporting both emotional healing and overall wellbeing.

You will also gain practical tools and techniques that you can carry forward, helping you maintain your progress and sustain positive change after our work together closes.

My modalities include;
