Here at Melina Therapy I offer specialised therapy for trauma and PTSD. Trauma therapy helps individuals come forward, into a safe space to be heard and validated, to begin to process and heal from the psychological and emotional effects of traumatic experiences. Trauma can result from events such as abuse, accidents, natural disasters, violence, neglect or other deeply distressing incidents. In particular, I specialise in the areas of sexual abuse, domestic and sexual violence. Trauma therapy is highly individualised, as every person processes trauma differently. I provide trauma informed compassionate care, drawn from extensive experience and theoretical knowledge. With expertise in trauma recovery interventions, such as breathwork and meditation, so you can feel safe in your mind and body again.
At Melina Therapy I offer relationship therapy for couples and intimate partners and any other defined relationship. The reasons why couples seek therapy vary, whether to re-build trust, resolve conflict, improve communication skills or strengthen emotional bonds. There may be addiction issues - drug, alcohol, pornography addiction or domestic violence or infidelity violations. Or long term relationships suffering from lack of intimacy. Relationship therapy can offer you, individually, or together a safe space where you can be listened to and heard, knowing that I am impartial to each person. It is not limited to romantic relationships and can also address dynamics between family members, friends or colleagues.

As a wellness coach I provide individualised guidance and support to help identify and achieve your unique needs and goals. Empowering you to make sustainable lifestyle changes with a positive mind-set to develop healthy habits that align with your values, dreams and aspirations. By identifying key areas, such as diet, exercise, stress, sleep and relaxation. Introducing mindfulness and meditation such as breath-work, gratitude, journaling and manifestation into your daily routines, to support these emotional and behavioural changes. With optimum coaching tools and holistic interventions to take away and sustain independently, so you can regain a sense of control and look after yourself with care and compassion.
